I have been an active member of Alpha Xi Delta since Spring 2016. I participate in philanthropy events, events on campus and recruitment every spring semester. I have had two leadership positions through the sorority by becoming Marketing Director for 2017 and Communications Vice President in 2018. Being a part of Greek Life and Alpha Xi Delta have helped me gain a whole new experience in college. I have met many people through this organization and it has taught me to push myself to get involved as much as I possibly can in order to grow as a person. I am very thankful for Alpha Xi Delta for giving me many new friends and a great part of my college experience.
Marketing Director
As Marketing Director, I oversaw the chapter’s marketing efforts. I was responsible for the chapter apparel and merchandise, newsletters and overall brand alignment. I worked with the Communications Team to identify opportunities for chapter members to publicize Alpha Xi Delta on campus. I also ensured that all marketing materials are consistent with Alpha Xi Delta branding guidelines. I oversaw Merchandise Chair, Newsletter Chair and Photography Chair in preparation for Communications Vice President.
Communications Vice President
As Communications Vice President, I effectively implement the external relations program and supervise all officers on my team that are involved with internal and external chapter relations. I conceptualize and implement the chapter’s public relations and marketing plans. I assure that the chapter is producing communications collateral that is consistent with Alpha Xi Delta branding and represents the chapter in a positive light. I work with the Communications team on management of social media, merchandise, newsletters and more. I also oversee the chapter’s outreach efforts to the campus, parents and alumnae.
