The University of Delaware was one of the last schools that I applied to my senior year of high school. I knew that I wanted to receive the full college experience as well as getting the best education. I realized that I did not want to go to a city school because eventually, I would want to receive my masters from a college in an urban area. I chose the University of Delaware because it had everything that I wanted for my college career. It had a national ranking fashion program, beautiful campus and great town. The first time I toured the campus, I felt at home and that is exactly what I wanted. From there, I have only loved the school even more. I have learned that there are many opportunities that are offered at UD and there is always room to grow. There are also endless amounts of resources that I utilized at UD. From professors, counselors and leaders, there is always someone there to help you get the best education and the most out of the university. I have grown tremendously since my freshman year here at UD. I have learned that I am a leader and that I am determined to make a difference. UD has given me this opportunity by becoming heavily involved in organizations, clubs and building relationships with my professors. It has given me the confidence to have a voice and to show my knowledge, love and passion for the fashion industry. Overall, I have enjoyed my time at UD and it has made me the person I am today.
