Bluefly is an online retailer that sells different types of products for a discounted price.

Over the summer of 2018, I had the opportunity to be a merchandise intern for Bluefly. I gained a new experience in visual merchandising by sorting specific merchandise to be featured on the website. I also created weekly analyses of best sellers from prior weeks and analyses of competitors emails. Lastly, I helped create inspiration for photoshoots in the summer and fall seasons. Bluefly helped me gain a new insight of the fashion industry. It showed me the importance of a merchandising role and how it can be diverse to many different companies.
